Illinois Safe Schools Symposium 2017

On October 8th & 9th, the Illinois Safe Schools Alliance and our wonderful community partners are cultivating a day-long gathering of students, parents, PreK-12 teachers and administrators, lawyers, healthcare professionals, and advocates to share skills and clarify shared goals for the work of the safe schools movement in the months and years ahead.

Our Illinois Safe Schools Symposium intends to amplify youth voices and bridge the gaps that exist between various sectors that often intersect but do not always interact. Support for folks traveling to Chicago from North, Suburban, Central, and Southern IL will be available as well as continuing education credits for teachers and licensed attorneys. We will also provide childcare and lunch on the day-of the Symposium.
