SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO HIGHLAND PARK HIGH SCHOOL!
The HPHS Charity Drive is about bringing students, staff, and community members together for a common cause. Each year, the Highland Park community raises money and gives it to a single non-profit that HPHS students and staff agree to by vote. Through activities including raffles, cook-offs, and competitions, HPHS has been very proud to have donated significant funds over the years that can easily soar into six-figure amounts!
In 2017, the Alliance made it to the final running. This historic accomplishment sent the message to schools across Illinois that LGBTQ+ inclusive education, policy, and practice is vital to the health and success of all students in school. Check out this clip of Jazz Jennings who helped take us to the final round - she's the best!
Thank you HPHS!!! <3
