2021 youth leadership Summit Registration

The Annual Youth Leadership Summit is typically a day-long opportunity for peer-led education, networking, and connecting in order to further the safer schools movement via school and community-based GSAs and youth groups. And this year we’re taking it virtual! The Illinois Safe Schools Alliance Youth Committee develops and facilitates workshops for GSA youth leaders throughout the state and plans supplemental programming via community partners for a day of fun and educational movement building! Topics include planning for #GSADay4RacialJustice (in February) and Day of Silence and Night of Noise (in April).

***Deadline to register is Thursday, January 21st!***

Who should attend? Any middle or high school student involved in playing a leadership role in their GSA! (Or any adult ally who acts as advisor/sponsor in these spaces!)

When is it? Saturday, 1/23/20! Daytime programming will occur 11:00a-2:00p and an evening social event will occur 6:00-8:00pm that evening.

Where is it? In virtual space via Zoom! Attendees will have the best experience joining from a laptop or computer, but participation via other devices is welcome.
